Sinking in Haji Backpacker

Mada started to be a backpacker (moviejunkieindonesia.com)

Fascinating scenery, chic talents, almost make sense apparels, but somehow paying less attention to the plot alteration, those are my comments for this film. An 1.30 hour film, about the journey of a man who regrets of what the Almighty decide to his life, a journey to find himself in the middle of the chaos life. It took 9 countries to set the story line, to give the soul to each part of the scene and to set an understanding about Islam, especially finding the enlightenment of life and religion as a whole.

A big picture of the film has been well captured in the movie trailer itself. A Moslem, missing the guidance, having big regret of the things out of his desire, blame God of what happened in his life and decided to go on an adventure and leave his Dad alone.

His life began with the journey at Thailand, a country of freedom (Thai). Beach, having fun at the club, beer party, gambling and also the atmosphere of freedom are the best description of freedom in Bangkok City. In this scene, Mada was very disappointed, what he wanted to do were having fun. He spent his time to get into a bar, drinking beers, and door-to-door, from a club to the other clubs just to spend his money. Here, he did everything without second thought. On the way back to his stay, on the bridge, his foreign friend fell his wallet down to a table of gangster in the middle of their gambling game. When he tried to ask them to give his wallet back, they said whatever comes to their area, it will belong to them. A fight was irresistible until the boss of the gang died at the hands of Mada. It is the start of the twist.

In the middle of the helter-skelter, he got a shocking news, his Dad has passed away. The feeling of regret attacked him, but  there is no time to prolong the sense. He needed to move quickly before the gangster catch him and do the revenge. Suddenly, he moved out from Bangkok to Hanoi, Vietnam. Somehow, I feel like it is not really easy to move in and move out from a country to the other, but let me make a reasonable answer for my own question. Yes, the easy way was because of the connection in the embassy and also it is still in the same region, South-East Asia.

In Vietnam, Mada found it difficult to just sleep and eat well. One day, he suffered fever but fortunately an old woman noticed it then gave him the medicine. Worse luck, he lost his money and had to work as a heaver. I might think that to be a backpacker, we had to prepare for the worst. I like the scene when Mada bought some street food, another captured feeling of Vietnam by tasting the traditional food. The next journey will be more interesting yet less logic flow. At one night, Mada was tired and got another fever. He decided to sleep in the cardboard. At the morning, he didn't wake up and the cardboard- which he was in it- was being delivered to China. At a point, I just want to feel exactly the same so that I can travel not that costly :)

I can yell at him if it is possible at the reality, "Lucky you, bad guy". He stepped his feet at Lijiang, a Moslem region in China. A warm welcome from the local people. A young woman, namely Suchun and her Dad looked after Mada. They applied the China traditional medicine to him and gave a comfortable shelter. Looking at the view of Lijiang, I really want to step my own foot there (Bismillah for 2015).

Mada fell in love to her, just too deep (uniqpost.com)
For the first time in this film, Mada can open up the story details of how he began the journey, how he threw the anger, how he started to asking the existence of Allah. It was because of a woman he really loved, left their wedding without any sign, without any explanation. Before, he was too confidence of what he felt for her. He repetitively asked Allah for the guidance, whether they had to marry or they were in love. He felt the woman he loved had the same feeling with him, that both of them were ready to marry. The woman always kept silent and just went with the flow of what Mada prepared, until the day had come and the big twist happened. She's gone, she loved Mada as a friend, not to be her husband.

Mada told Suchun about his story (detikcom)
Like all of the story about a breaking-heart phase, Mada went angry and had a deep disappointment. He lost his belief to God, to the universe even to his beloved Dad. He constantly went along on a journey and miss the guidance. It is just like what everyone has been through. We always put the confidence above the other when we have a desire to make the-wish- real, but we always forget about the ability to sense human feeling about our plan. We lived in a era that always put the logic, confidence and desire combine perfectly in front of the art of sensing. Then when we fall, it seems we lost everything.

"Gods' injunctions are perfect, Mada. Nothing is given to chance. Your disappointment is simply a reflection of you're not wanting to be ruled by Him", Suchun summed up what she could captured from the story given by Mada.True that.

The readiness of someones' soul to enter the new beginning after the wound healed depends to the consciousness to believe Allah in guiding someones' heart. The sense will grow in the right time, if I may say it like that. Mada felt relieved after telling the story, he decided to continue his journey by stepping his foot to Tibet, Nepal and then India. The Imam gave him a book about Quran wisdom, the best sentence in Quran to make him easier to understand the guidance from Allah. Moreover, he got a name of Sufi in Ajmer, India who can interpret the nightmare he always got.

In the part of Tibet and Nepal, there are only some parts of beautiful scene that really stole my eyes. The greatness of Potala Palace at the top of Red Hill, also the eye catchy and glorious shrine, Swayambunath are the best allurement scene following the scene in China. These scenes can absolutely embroider the whole stories.

At Ajmer, India, he got the interpretation of his nightmare and also the answer of the wound of his heart. The answer how he got the wound and how to heal it. This is the peak of story where he finally tried to open up his heart and mind to see the opportunity of new beginning, to just moving on. I remember a line in the Mitch Albom, Five People You Meet in Heaven, it is well said that: "In order to move on, you must understand why you felt what you did and why you no longer need to feel it"

From the holy city, Ajmer, Mada continued the journey to Saudi Arabia to meet his Dad, to apologize of the things he ruined, the mistakes and the anger he threw to his Dad. He passed Pakistan to arrive at Balochistan, Iran. Here, the radical Moslem caught him and forced hi to read Quran. Mada awed them and they set him free, even the head of the group set Mada to help his colleague on a sailed ship to Mecca. Finally, he ended up at Mecca and begged a deep apologize to his Dad in his cemetery. Such a beautiful ending to start the new beginning, I feel it.

Mada apologized to his Dad and felt the new beginning as a Hajj Backpacker (uniqpost.com)

The precis I can conclude is:
"To start over something is sometimes through a very long journey before we can step the foot right in front of the door. A door to push the restart button and start the new beginning with the newest upgrade version of ourselves"

They may be hug me or my mom to make sure that they are safe! They love to try everything new in daily life, their curiosity are unbeatable. Often, they try to turn on the gas stove, try to ride the mini- motor, or cut everything surrounding them by a hug- scissor! Actually, my sister has cut her own hair when she was 3 y.o ! A Scrambled Letter For Uni

Notifying certain particular things is not that easy, for some people. I got some new lesson from someone. Someone I thought I will meet in a short term, but the destiny said different. Very different. She is one of talented women I have ever met She is warm-hearted, kind, and friendly I can see the discipline atmosphere when I just looked at her when she was in mad, she did it very cool She is very expressive and will not let anybody saw her sadness When she sent the text to me that she wanted to ask a note from me about her, I just don't know how to write some notes as she requested cause what exactly I saw is: She is always looked happy, no matter what. But there is something, some lesson she taught, Lesson about confidence, road to success, and also the obligation of being strong She said:  "Kimel, you are beautiful, but why you looked like don't care of it? You should put some face-powder and lipstick on your face to make it fresh, and mascar
