Eventually, i believe that summer at France and Spain will be very different. Then, yes it was! I was just very excited with the weather at Spain. It was hot and nothing can be compared with the hotness of this city, the hottest city in Spain. Then, i will explain it here. A week at Extremadura, a city full of excitement and pleasure. In this city, i explore some of story related with the people, the city and also the unpredictable things we got. The details about cultural things are not only about what we bring but also the things we got.
After visited Jaca, we directly went to Extremadura, a hot city i' ve ever visited in Spain. Imagining the weather, it was like hot wave everywhere. There was only few big trees there and it felt like sauna everywhere, even at room. There we got dorm one building with some contingents, they were Russia, Brazil, Taiwan, Senegal and also Argentina.

Fasting at the city that the weather was very hot is a new thing for me since in Indonesia the weather is not that hot. It is a kind of chance to keep my believe that i can pass it well. The things at Extremadura were very unpredictable. Start from the weather, the situation, the shopping center, the games, and also visiting Portugal! All combined together.

The weather there was about 44 degree Celsius, and i never expect it. When i was fasting, it was a kind of disaster when the hot wave came. I wanted to go out with my friends, but the city center was about 3 km, so i had to take a bus to get there. But nothing was impossible, so i and my friends did it. We found some exciting places, like shopping center, Orange gallery to find credit for my phone cellular, the historical monument, Burger King and Pizza Hut restaurant (after all the days in Europe couldn't find them), vintage shop, swimming pool, until we found mall with shopping center (Zara, Blanco, Pull & Bear) in it. We actually had a lot of spare time until the night came the we had to perform on the different stage each night. The performances were started at 11 pm on local time, then we had to on the bus since 6 or 7 pm. One of the best surprise was one of the destination we performed, it was Portugal! We never expect that because our country destination written on our journey were only Spain and France! We got directly there and found Portugal was full of historical monuments and also the church. We got so many post card on our goody bag, and it was flawless!

One day to create a good bonding among the contingents, the committee of the festival in Extremadura held some games, they were running and sack race. Beside, we did our dance workshop by teaching Saman dance to the people there. Indeed, it was a good time to show the capacity of each contingents. Another day, the committee held a party full of music and also the foods. Mingle with another contingents and also having a little talk about culture. Then, the other day, we went to swimming pool nearest the dorm by bus, incredibly, after the time for swimming was enough, we left one of the our friend, Ghea! She was in toilet, but her sandals were on the bus, precisely, under my seat, so i assumed that she was on the back part of the bus passenger seat. But, in fact, she was left at the swimming pool, then two of my friends picked her up by taxi. Oh, don't know why, but it was a funny experience!

The scenery of some parts at Extremadura was awesome. There were building, i mean, old building, with an old church also. But they were surrounded by the shopping center, the cafe and also the souvenir shop. It supposed to be a marketing strategy from the former. The other story is about the breaking time of the people when summer came, it was
Siesta. It took about 3- 4 hours starts from 2 pm- 5 or 6 pm. The shop would close in this duration, so you have to go out before or after this siesta if you want to go shopping or you have to wait for the door opening at the front of certain shop for hours.

After approximately 7 days at Extremadura, the journey began to moving to another country which has its own story. This city was HOT, full of desire to enter each SHOP there, and since we went to Portugal unpredictably, it was TOP!
