I text this article is not because i wanna share my experience only, but i also make sure that sometimes what you think it's not good for you at the beginning, is very useful for today, tomorrow and your future. Yes, trying to love and understand what you have chosen. Before you take another decision, just think deeply and let your heart decide it.
Okay, i know you'll say that i am rather not normal, i'm so overload of hilarious, etc. May be, i'm just having an happy experience of being the part of Communication UI 2010. Yeah, before i got into Communication UI, i never imagined that i would have (a lot of) experiences, knowledge, friends, stories, landscapes and everything new based on my self- experience. They combined into a bounding and pushed my personality, my appearance, my way of thinking, my mind set and also my goal(s).
Well, i'm not naive, first time i took my feet on the UI~ land, i felt like sero, empty, glad, dilemma and so on. I was asking myself, "Can i take the challenge to have college- period here?" Hesitation still came to me. Jiggles always try to disturb me. I understood, i have chosen my way, my dream to have college here and the chance's coming! And i didn't want to let it go..
I tried to not expose my feeling.
Yeah I have tried, i tried, i was trying, i am trying and i will try (more).
Yeah, to be the best, to be the winner.
Yeah, the winner in the parts that i'm falling in love with ♥
Well, i got a chemistry in my study program. I knew, i was new, i haven't got any experience of being a college- student. I really- really could feel the "pain" of joining the initiation period. Those were so hectic, cruel, crowded, doing everything in a rush hour. But in every movement, i tried to be willing and enjoyed the activities.There was a strength that pulled me in and the atmosphere told me that i have to be strong and just let it flow.
Yeah, and i have got so many experiences. It was just like; I drew on a canvas, i coloured the sketch, and i hang it on the wall, i look at it, try to analyze what i've drawn. Well, what i've got were so many and those all are like the meteoroids! Come into your life suddenly and make a surprise, make a noise for your life, then it changed your life totally!
There are 8 Meteoroids ♥:
1. Communication is not as simple as what i see, what i thought.
If you think that communicating is simple, you have to check your brain to the doctor. Just Kidding. Yeah. Communication is dynamic and have a linkage with the other aspects.
2. Do you know? Communication's students are so and so creative! I love them freakin so much :)
They created cabaret (theater), name tags, annual- book and so many things! their creativity are unbeatable. Me and my friends always create the new things and try to make it as perfect as possible.
3. Communication needs details. As much as possible.
Then, when you are communicating with another, you have to check their mimic, their body languages, their eyes. Every gesture has a meaning. Well, although they are dynamic, and the translation will be based on our own culture and affected by ethic, which are the meaning will be different, we have to be critical on accepting the symbol on communication, verbal and non- verbal.
4. Communication needs skills
Have you ever got angry because of your younger brother behavior? Then you said to him that he was ugly, naughty and he would never get friends because of his behavior? Okay, this method is wrong. I have ever done it and my lecturer said that it's totally false. You can get angry, but your way to express it has to be (more) accurate. Your brother is younger than you, they express what they feel to get your attention. Be wise and say to him that he is handsome, he is clever and then tell him the right behavior to make him better than before. Do you remember about Charles H. Cooley's theory Looking Glass- self? This theory is connected to this fact.
5. we learn (more) about important and unimportant information.
Have you ever try to heed the people or may be look at yourself ? without realizing it, you always select every information you got. We always make a list of information need. If you are a musician, you will concern (more) on music updates in this era and pay less attention for any politics rumor and so is the reverse.
6. communication pay a big big attention to non- verbal acts.
when you communicate with the other, you can not leave this part. Check it! when you are in the front of class, delivering your opinion, you may be got nervous, expressing it throughout your shiver body or may be when your friend say yes then her mimic "say" no, just trust on the non- verbal expressions. It works!
7. communication is rich of symbol(s)
Symbol of unity, symbol of wealth, symbol of togetherness and many others. You said your status by wearing a t- shirt written "Singapore" or may be "Paris". You usually use Logan Lerman's or may be Chanel. It represents which status you belong to.
8. communication has a relationship to field experience
Said that, My friend : i wanna go to J.Co, would you like to order something?
Me: Yes, i wanna two pieces green tea taste.
after a long time,, she come back with a cup of real green tea. It's funny then i laugh loudly.
